Prior to using Notify, Epta relied on a card and paper system for near miss and accident reporting. Field engineers were also home based, so if they had an accident or near miss, they had to phone or email their manager, who would then phone the supervisor, who would then inform the Health and Safety team. It was an extremely slow and inefficient process.
