Notify Technology is delighted to be working with Vostochnaya Technica, who join the #safetyrevolution to help keep Russian workforce safe.

Vostochnaya Technica, part of Barloworld and the largest dealer for Caterpillar Inc. in the world, has 29 branches and more than 800 employees.

Workers, based in Western and Eastern Siberia, Yakutia, Magadan, Kamchatk and Chukotka, are using a new native-Russian version of the Notify platform. The addition of a new translation of the software comes as part of Notify’s mission to bring down the barriers to safety reporting across the world.

Notify, launched in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2017, and backed by Mercia Asset Management, already has users in over 100 countries around the globe and is focused on transport, mobility and infrastructure enablement.

Duncan Davies, CEO of Notify Technology, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Vostochnaya Technica, and would like to say Добро пожаловать to the entire team!

“We are immensely proud of what we have achieved, via a truly collaborative approach, to deploy the Russian version of Notify, building on our mission to make a billion workers safer across the globe.”

Vostochnaya Technica spent considerable time assessing options to help them in their key goal of increasing near miss reporting, a notoriously difficult area within their sector. Darren Kurtz, Chief Information Officer commented “We were delighted to find in Notify a partner that could quickly deliver us native-Russian Mobile and Web applications for our safety reporting and management. The early signs around engagement are really encouraging and we were delighted with the collaborative approach taken by Notify.

Safety is a priority for our organisation and the platform offered by Notify will help us make sure we can put safety into the hands of every person, wherever they work.”
