Incident Management : Change Incident Type

We have enhanced our Incident Management Module by empowering ‘Department Incidents Manager’ and ‘Company Incidents Manager’ to be able to change an incorrectly logged Incident. For example, where an incident No. 41 has been reported as Ill Health but should have reported as an Injury, you can now click the Change Incident Type button and change Incident No. 41 to be Ill Health.

Step 1 of the Change Incident type wizard on the left-hand side will display the current Incident Type, and the right-hand side of the screen allows you to select the Incident type it should have been captured as.

Steps 2 through 4 of the Change Incident Type follows the same user experience as if you were submitting an Incident. The left-hand side of the screen displays the information as captured on the original incident, whereas the right-hand side will display the fields related to the new incident type.

Note: Notify will attempt to automatically map and auto populate common fields between each incident type. The Wizard will also ensure that all the originally captured pictures are retained on the new Incident.
